Dhalapathar is a small village in Khurda district of Odisha. Like several other places in Odisha, this place too has its weaving style. The handloom artist uses extra weft to make patterns but their extra weft crosses more than 2/3 warp threads to create a small dash. Each shape has several such dashes. For the last few decades, the weavers were busy making curtains until recently when a few designers intervened. No jacquard is used to create the patterns on the saree.
Each piece is curated keeping in mind the taste of our customers and the quality of the product. Our purpose is to give exclusivity to your wardrobe with minimal environmental impact. The concept of sustainability does not end here though. We make sure that the true value of the product is paid to the weaver for a sustainable growth. In totality, we work together for a better tomorrow.
