Jaamdani is a beautiful technique with a discontinuous extra weft. Originally done on a sheer fabric like muslin, this one is an adoption of same technique on Khaadi with fabric count of 60. Each booti is made by hand while weaving process is on. Thus this is extremely time consuming technique. The small irregular weaving in the fabric is the beauty of khaadi. The dye is natural.
The fabric is produced by weavers and is collectively sold under a co-operative society from Andhra Pradesh.
