Handwoven Stole made from Kala Cotton, dyed using natural Indigo and soof embroidery with cotton thread makes this stole a unique combination of goodness. Soof embroidery is one of the most expensive embroidery as the design is not printed on the fabric but its in the mind of the craftsmen and its made by counting the gap created by warp and weft. So each embroidery shape is exact across the garment.
This product is designed by an artisan Tulsi Puvar under the brand name Liti. She along with Laxmi Puvar and Tara Puvar have started their own venture. This trio like many others were busy doing embroidery work for several organisations until one day Somaiya Kala Vidhyalaya empowered them to start a business on their own. They are now entrepreneurs for 2 years already and the youngest amongst them is just 18.
The trio belongs to a village called Faradi near Mandvi.
