The saree is designed and produced in West Bengal. The warp is mill yarn while the weft is handspun khadi. The saree has geecha-jute thread, pallu. The saree is handwoven on a handloom.
The product is designed by a paramparik Karigar. His ancestors migrated from Bangladesh leaving everything behind except for their skill to weave. They started weaving again and slowly and gradually started employing other weavers in their area. Today he boasts of employing 10,000 people and not many want to leave this job. He ensures people are paid well and are taken care off when in need.

Wash Care: Wash separately in cold water. Use mild detergent.
